Loren Sproat
Loren Sproat has widely traveled across all seven continents and brings a global perspective to Saskatchewan tourism.
Loren is also a seasoned Saskatchewan tourism and hospitality leader with more than 40 years of experience in resort operations, hotel management, casino marketing and community economic development. He is a co-owner and operator of the historic Kenosee Gardens and co-owner & builder of the Kenosee Inns resort hotel at Moose Mountain Provincial Park. As Marketing Manager for Northern Lights Casino, he directed the marketing portfolio for one of SIGA’s most successful casino operations. His career also includes leadership roles in property development, billboard media and regional recreation attractions. His work in the tourism industry earned him the TISASK Hospitality Excellence Award, which he was very honoured to receive.
A former RCMP officer and long-standing volunteer, Loren has served on numerous boards including the Saskatchewan Hotel Association, Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, Prince Albert Destination Marketing Fund and the Saskatchewan Creative Music Board. Loren was a co-founding member of the Moose Mountain Tourism Association and one of the inaugural board members of TISASK, Saskatchewan’s original Tourism Board.
Loren remains active on several boards such as the Northern Lights Community Development Corporation (Charity Arm for Northern Lights Casino) and the Hatchet Lake Development Board (Northern First Nations Business and Tourism).
