Chandra Lane, emerit Certified Hotel General Manager

I started as a part-time night auditor and shortly after being hired started doing sales.

Within a year I was the General Manager and now look to continue my career in hospitality.

I previously held management roles in different industries, but I have really enjoyed working in hospitality so I felt pursuing this certification would help solidify my future in the industry.

I love building relationships with guests, corporate clients, and my hotel team.

Making personal connections and being able to provide a great experience is very fulfilling.

I also love that no day is the same in tourism.

There are always new guests, and new challenges, so you get to continue learning and growing as the industry changes.
