Jared Olson, Entrepreneurship Advisor, SK Startup Institute
Originally from Saskatoon, SK, Jared Olson joined the SK Startup Institute in the spring of 2023. Jared graduated from the University of Saskatchewan as a student-athlete and Captain of the Huskies Track & Field Team, while working in the banking sector through his studies. In 2016, Jared graduated from the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Management, with a Finance and Accounting focus.
After graduation, he continued working in the banking industry in both retail and commercial. After his time in banking, Jared worked within the hospitality industry in multiple managerial roles, including operating and opening a local café before leaving the industry in 2023. As an Entrepreneurship AdvisorJared loves to help individuals bring their ideas to fruition, and assist with adapting to the ever-changing landscape we know as business ownership.
