Earn an Emerit Work-Readiness Credential
Emerit is Canada's tourism training and certification program. All Emerit training and certifications are based on National Occupational Standards (NOS) and are validated by thousands of tourism professionals working across Canada.
To obtain an Emerit Work-Readiness Credential complete the following steps:
Step 1: Complete the Workplace Essentials eLearning Course
- Workplace Essentials ($125)
Step 2: Select one of the occupation-specific training courses:
- Front Desk Agent ($125)
- Housekeeping Room Attendant ($125)
- Line Cook ($125)
Note: These courses can be taken independently, without completing the Work-Ready Credential. When taking these courses, you will earn a Certificate of Completion.
Step 3: Contact training@tourismsask.com to book your two exams:
- All-Skills exam ($200)
- Occupation Specific Micro-Exam ($100)
Step 4: Achieve your Work-Readiness Credential.
- The Work-Readiness Credential includes a certificate, a digital badge, and the right to use the designation on your business card, resume, and social media profile.
